Donate to Dogs in Distress

The more donations we get, the more dogs we can save. Thank you for your support.

Dogs in Distress neuters, vaccinates, worms and microchips all of our dogs. Many of our dogs require additional veterinary care. Our vet bills are considerable and we rely on the generosity of our adopters and supporters to help us raise the funds that we need to cover our costs.

Dogs in Distress volunteers do not receive salaries, everyone provides their time free of charge.
Every cent of your donation will go directly to helping dogs whose lives are in danger.

Important information about your donation.

Personal Donations:

If you donate a minimum of €250 Euro per year (or a minimum of €21 Euro per month), the government will give Dogs in Distress €112 Euro. If you donate €1000, Dogs in Distress receive more than €400 in additional revenue direct from the Irish Government.

If you can spare a minimum of 21 Euro per month to go direct to the welfare of our dogs, we urge you to set up the 21 Euro (or more) as a recurring monthly donation. In this way you are actually donating nearly 50% more.

Company Donations:

We don’t receive extra revenue from the government through company donations, but there are benefits and tax write-offs that your company can avail from. Please contact your accountant for more details.

Our online donation system is getting upgraded – please bear with us while this is taking place.
